Purifying Respiratory Essential Oil Niaouli

Niaouli essential oil is steam distilled from the leaves and twigs of Melaleuca viridiflora. Its bold, camphorous and slightly earthy aroma makes it a strong ally in purifying and clarifying aromatherapy blends.

Often chosen for respiratory support, niaouli can be diffused during seasonal challenges or added (well diluted) to chest and back massage oils to help create a sense of openness and clarity. Its stimulating nature brings a feeling of renewed energy and focus.

Topically, in low dilutions and combined with a suitable carrier, niaouli is sometimes used in targeted skincare for congested or blemish-prone areas, thanks to its cleansing and balancing character.

Because of its intensity, a little goes a long way. Blend with softer oils such as lavender, citrus or woods to round out its aroma and always dilute thoroughly before skin application.
